Alright I know I have been a bad bad blogger but I have legitimate reasons! First I am pregnant, while this is not a disablity it is hindering my ability to think rationally as well as as quickly as I usually do. Yes I am a bit slow lately!
We are also trying to buy a house so that is causing me more grief than you can imagine (unless of course you have bought a house, then you feel my pain and are probably grateful that it is over!)
Packing an apartment is a ridiculous job. I packed half of one room in huge boxes and still have 30 boxes packed. Thats just ridiculous! Its not even throw away type stuff! I have been throwing away things, we packed all of Eli's toys. whoo hoo! Its much more tidy around here if you dont count the mounds of boxes everywhere.
I have been working at home for a few weeks which has been awesome but I have to return to the office of torture on Monday because we aren't sure that the new house can get DSL. Don't even get me started on that one!
Did you guys know christmas is right around the corner? The holiday riddled with children obsessing over which 'cars' they will get this year or the husband that stands outside at toys r us at 3am to get a Wii. It is supposed to be about Christ and everyone seems to forget all about that. It shouldnt be a stressful time, it should be fun!
It's the holiday that we have to spend with some family members we like and others we would like to shove their head into thier plate of ham and green beans? You know what I am talking about... that crazy person who everytime they open thier mouth you just want to shove a ladel of mashed potatoes in.
Hopefully by the end of December I will have a house :) And things will have calmed down a bit.
*big sigh*

I agree that Christmas shouldn't be so stressful. I keep trying to remind myself of that, but then I get reminded of the treats I need to make, the gifts I need to buy (and all the money it's going to take to do that), and the parties we need to go to and my focus goes right out the window. :P
WOW you found a house!! Congrats! I'm very excited for you. I can't wait to see you! We need to plan a date to have dinner when I'm there for Christmas! You need to tell me about your black friday experience this year...did brian get a Wii?
