Today we went out to ride this bike, Eli had a pretty good time I think and it was just the two of us. :)

Hard on Eli
I have been a little hard on Eli lately, its hard to remember he is only 4. I think he is having a hard time adjusting to a new baby, he takes every opportunity to wake up the baby, grabs him, shakes him or just yelling and stomping through the room. I am trying to give Eli as much one on one time as possible but apparently its not enough. Eli loves and kisses gabriel all the time but sometimes its too much and he doesn't listen when I ask him to stop. Any suggestions guys? Did you guys have this trouble with your kids?

Sorry to hear Eli is having such a tough time. He looks so happy in those photos. I love those pictures! My favorites are the last two especially the one with the bricks. The colors just pop!
I can totally relate. I thought Harrison was going to kill Zane when he was born, either with jealousy or an overabundance of love. The same thing happened between Zane and Ewan. It didn't last for too long. The one on one time with the older sibling totally helps. Good luck!

You know, when we had Savannah and then Heidi, I was tough on the older kids too. I think that at times I expect too much of them and forget how young they really are. It gets easier. You just have to hang in there and do a lot of hugging and kissing and saying "I love you and am proud of the big brother that you are."
