The symptoms are hard to describe so I am going to try to illustrate it for you.
There is something wrong with his face, its crooked or something and his tongue keeps hanging out. Its as if half of his face is numb... isn't that typically a sign of stroke?
This must be some sort of 'open eye syndrome' which causes a stiffness in the neck as well as the blue veins in his head to pop more than usual.
At this point I was starting to get concerned, its some sort of spasm. I am thinking a seizure of some type.
Then there are the mood swings... These are pretty rough. apparently the doorbell rang today and he never told me. When I asked him why he said "I was extracted by the TV, sorry MOTHER". If he keeps this crap up he is going wake up to find a chihuahua head in his bed.
Then came the rash, I was obviously concerned about some type of Necrosis. The last thing this kid needs is mummified tissue hanging out on his body. So I took him to the doctor.
So the doctor diagnosed him with a 'really icky spider bite' and put him on some drugs to keep his body from reacting so badly. Its essentially an allergic reaction. Thank goodness.

Oooooh, poor Eli! Poor Heather & Brian for having to deal with him! I had a nasty bug (unknown type) bite a few weeks ago that landed me in the hospital. I woke up with a huge red circle on my arm, outlined in white and it was very swollen and hot to the touch. I happen to work with several RN's all of whom were in agreement that it looked like it could be the start of a cellulitis infection so off I went to the ER. Fortunately for me SLC has a brand new state-of-the-art medical center so I was in the lap of luxury as I was treated. Antibiotics, benedryl and an ice pack later I was on my way. No fun!!
Eli is getting so big! Micah asked about him today...
