Celebrating Gabe

Today Is my sweet Gabriels 2nd Birthday. Its hard to believe 2 years has gone by but at the same time I can't really remember what life was like before our little boisterous booger faced boy.

Cool Stuff about Gabe:

He loves motorcycles more than cars.
He is talking up a storm, but he won't speak on demand.
He puckers his lips to give kisses but still manages to slobber on us.
Loves cheese and apples (he calls apples bopples)
Spends a considerable amount of nap time jumping on his bed.
Gabe is always on the go but frequently stops to give hugs and kisses at random. He is very cuddly.
Is in 24 month clothes, wears size 6-7 shoes
Has to sleep on top of a pillow (his whole body is across the pillow, kind of defeats the purpose huh?)
Only likes fuzzy blankets, if its too smooth he rejects it.
Last week he toppled in his high chair but didn't cry.
Has an ear piercing scream that can be heard by all of our neighbors (literally)
Won't drink milk but loves water.

So to celebrate we went to Mammaw & Poppys and had cake, I don't think he knew what to make of the candles but he loved the ice cream cake.
Earlier in the day I wanted to make sure to get some pictures of him ON his birthday (okay, I know I am totally lame. ) We sat on the porch and took a few, while we were out there, Daddy pulled in. The bottom two pictures are him yelling DADDY!
Mammaw is so smart and got gabe a pack of 4 motorcycles, he was in total heaven! He focused on the wheels as they turned around and around. He was so serious.
The day wasn't without trauma. Brian is comforting him after he scolded him for stepping on the kitty.
Sometimes Gabe gets annoyed with Eli's "help".
Poppy had a tree with blossoms all over that were falling like SNOW, it was beautiful and awesome. Gabe kept yelling "snow".
Eli is 6 1/2 now. He is such a great big brother. When speaking to me Eli often refers to gabe as "your baby"

I LOVE to see little boys' excitement when Daddy comes home and I love it even more that you caught it on camera!! Priceless.

Gabe is two?!? How did that happen? It seems like just yesterday I was looking at those sweet pics you took of him as a newborn. I am so jealous of your awesome picture taking talent. I seriously want you to do pics for me if you ever come to Utah. I love seeing what you take of your boys. They are really adorable.
