Herniated Bathtime

What a pretty little face!

Brothers have such strange relationships. I am sure as my boys get older the pictures will look even more strange than this. I have thought eli had blue eyes but I always thought they were a little grey. Now that we have gabriel, I think eli's eyes look a little green. Genetically we cant have a green eyed baby despite the fact that my eyes are green. And no we dont have a milkman. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :)
Get your mind out of the gutter! This is an umbilical hernia for goodness sakes! It is a very small hole and what you see is the air in his intestine poking out. It even squeaks when you push it. See that big fat round belly? Thats from pigging out on 10 oz. of formula. Oink Oink.

Oh look! what IS that thing? When I move it moves too! Wow...I wonder what else I can do with that?!
Hi mom, I just want to tell you that you are the most BEAUTIFUL woman in the world and I am so glad that heavenly father gave me to you. I also want you to know the enormous amount of money that you spend on my formula is much appreciated. I have a very special relationship with my milk and I just think I would die without it!
Have I told you guys about the elvis grin? Ever since he was born this kid has made faces where just one side lifts up. Sometimes it almost seemed smug. Now that he is smiling, he is doing it even more.
Bathtime! So while I am going through all of our stuff trying to rid us of JUNK, I found these rubber duckies. I decided to take eli's picture with them, then off to the dump they go!
Rubber duckie...you're the one....
Showers....
This is Eli's favorite bath toy. He claims that this truck is made for water because unlike him it uses a snorkel so the engine can 'breathe' . I say very clever...but where is the snorkel? Very matter of factly...its invisible mom. With a duh look on his face. Good grief.

Cute pics, as always. When I first read the title of your post, I thought it was going to be all about getting a hernia during the boys' bath. (Sometimes it feels like I get a hernia on some bath nights. haha) I didn't know I would actually see a real one! Kind of cool....

Gabriel makes the greatest faces and Eli has an incredible imagination. I miss them so I need to get over to your house soon. Let me know what days and times you guys are available. Love ya.
